Download Oracle Xpress Edition from java.sun.com
Go to Terminal and Go to your Download path or where ever you have download file through terminal

1. dpkg -i oracle-xe_10.2.0.1-1.0_i386.deb
2. after installing you have to configure an account in Oracle. So, after installing the oracle u must given
a message with a path copy path and paste to terminal and enter
3. give all port as default and enter
4. give a password and remember it
5. Go to Menu bar and go to > Go to Database Home page
6. on User name : System Password : you have give in 4th step
7. Click on administration tab > Database User > Manage User click on it
8. Click on Hr
9. Password and Confirm Password: Enter hr for the password.
Account Status: Select Unlocked.
Roles: Ensure that both CONNECT and RESOURCE are enabled.
10 Click Alter User.
11. Click Create
12. Put new username --> Prem and Password --> *****
13. Go to Sql> Type Connect and enter now type username and password and enter and use
